I like What ifs. As a creator of universes, I like to mix settings, universes. That's how creativity emerges. I've been wanting to play the next setting for a long time: What if Steeve Austin, the 6 billion dollar man, came to Hawkins in the Strangers Things setting?

Supernatural Stories 80 SRD - A new light RPG
Introducing Supernatural Stories 80 SRD, an ultra-lightweight roleplaying game for modern/fantasy or futuristic games.
Hello and welcome to my blog if you don't know it.
You may have arrived here by accident or by clicking on the link on the SRD. If that's the case, let me introduce myself. My name is Gin Lunar and I create minimalist role-playing games and content for solo play.

Tic Tac... Make the map dynamic with an event timer
Last week, we created the map of the Braix'Thana region in a few minutes. In this post, we'll see how this little background can evolve - again in minutes!Last week, we created the map of the Braix'Thana region in a few minutes. DUNGEONS SOLO: A series of solo gamebooks to be played without preparation
Since May 2021, I have been involved in writing the DUNGEONS SOLO series published by Doppelgänger Publishing. DUNGEONS SOLO is a series of "dungeon crawler" type game books designed for a single player without a game master.

RPG SOLO: Simulating Players #2 - Decisions
Last week, I posted about another way to approach rpg solo gaming by simulating the characters rather than the game master.
The topic led to an interesting discussion on reddit that you can find here: reddit link
Today I'm sharing my thoughts on how to build this kind of game.

Since the beginning of the solo rpg we have seen a whole range of game master generators. The most famous being of course Mythic Role Playing.

Rewriting - How to play solo rpg in FIVE minutes only? Example #2
In a previous article How to play solo rpg in FIVE minutes only? Example #2 , I explained how to play in 5 minutes. The result was satisfactory but incomplete. Since I liked the adventure, I wanted to take some time to rethink all these adventures and rewrite the adventure
I'm not going to completely distort what I've written in the past. I'm filling in the blanks

Maze Runner, Insurgent: The biggest twists in movie history. Inspiration
Insurgent, Mazerunner, Narnia... I love these movies. I'm not talking about the teen movie aspect or the rotten clichés that force these films to the rank of B movies.
No, what I like is the way the author mistreats his background.

Play in 5 minutes: Example part2
Continuation of the adventures of our interstellar smuggler. You can find part 1 where I used Tod Zircher's oracle here. This time, I'll use my favorite oracle generator, the icon-based generator.

Play in 5 minutes with this simple technique
One of the big problems in the solo rpg is to finish your adventures. It's very easy to start, but sometimes you get lost along the way. The technique I suggest below will force you to create an adventure in 5 minutes flat.
It's also a great way to practice and stimulate your imagination

A new tool: Icon Oracle for solo gamers
Recently, I got kicked out of the free web hosting company 000webhostapp.com.
This platform was hosting my very first creation, Icons Oracles, an unpretentious site that allowed to generate random icons.
The site also allowed to write paragraphs of text and titles.
For no particular reason, Webhost decided to close the site. Being a free hebrgeur, I don't particularly blame them. It had to happen one day!
So I decided to recreate the system and host it directly on a page of my blog.
I have removed everything that seemed unnecessary. At each page refresh, the generator:
displays 3 random icons taken from https://game-icons.net/
(version 04/30/2021) with its description below
displays some random dice rolls (because we still need dices)
For the purpose of The Wandering Knight solo rpg, I wanted to add an icon interpreter (object, magic, npc, unexpected event...) and if it's good, neutral or bad
To access the generator click on the link in the sidebar
Feel free to use this tool as you want! And don't hesitate to send me your comments (even if I know very well that 99% of the users are mute).
Find all my productions on drivethrurpg. No risk! Everything is free or in full preview.
And more on the shop of our publisher

Ghosts of the Lantern Path - Example of play #1 The Adventure Begins
Recently I published a Ghosts of the Lantern Path solo module compatible with The Wandering Knight solo rpg.
The module came in two A5 booklets or pocketmod format, but was presented without explanations. Here is a series of posts in which I demonstrate a sample session.

"Yes, but" "No, but" - Some interpretation ideas to thicken the story
In recent role-playing games such as The Wandering Knight, the use of the concept of "degree of success" is common. While total success/failure is easy enough to interpret, the partial success degree, the "yes/no but", the "success but add a complication" is often open to interpretation.
What is this "complication"? You succeeded, but there is another problem. You have failed, but not completely.

Challenge Ninja Solo Play #2: The adventure of Herman Fatflower, the halflin.
Here is the beginning of my solo campaign in an ultra-minimalist mode. For this series of articles, I will use my blog as a notebook. Also, the speech may seem quite choppy. The idea is to share my experience as I lived it in order to look for ways to improve.

Challenge Ninja Solo Play part1
Hello everyone!
I'm inaugurating here a small series of posts to keep track of my solo play, my successes and my failures. I hope that these few thoughts will help improve the Game.
